ACI will host its Semi-Annual Board & Membership Meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque.
Lillian Montoya, chair of ACI's Board of Directors, and ACI President and CEO Jason Espinoza will speak about ACI's 2016 accomplishments and the organization's exciting new programming for 2017. Matthew Jaramillo, chair of ACI's Government Affairs Committee, and Jason will later discuss with the membership ACI's draft policy agenda and priorities for the legislative session. Committee chairs and committee members, the resident experts of ACI's policy committees, will be on hand to provide insights and answer questions. These important deliberations will culminate with the adoption of ACI's policy agenda and legislative priorities.
The headlining topics of the 2017 legislative session will be the budget, taxation and economic development. That is why the headlining presenters of the semi-annual meeting will be:
• David Abbey, Director of the Legislative Finance Committee;
• Richard Anklam, President and Executive Director of the New Mexico Tax Research Institute; and
• Tim Nitti, President and CEO of the New Mexico Partnership.
